On Sat 30th November, we went to the Marina Market for lunch and to have a look at the stalls, before heading to Mahon Point Shopping Centre for a bit of Christmas shopping.
Once all our “retail therapy” was had, we ventured out in to the pouring rain to Fota’s Wonderlights.
But rain was not going to dampen our spirits as we drank hot chocolates and sang in the rain, while we waited our turn.
Despite the weather, the lights did not disappoint, nor did the group, as they walked on and chatted and sang.
Absolutely soaked to the bone, we hopped on the bus and were homeward bound by 7.30pm.
It was a great day out and lovely to see some new young people join us!
